Workload of the Inpatient Nurses: What are the Affecting Factors?

High nurse workload can impact the quality of hospital services. Nurses are spearhead services, so they must obtain attention and be professionally managed to provide positive contributions advancement hospital. This study was conducted describe factors that influence high nurses in Surgical Internal Inpatient Installation (IRNA BDB) Baptis Batu Hospital. Qualitative quantitative methods with an explorative, descriptive approach were used. Determination root problem using fishbone diagram. Factors inpatient number do not meet needs, placement junior interns increases more for senior nurses, carry out financial administrative tasks, blood sampling laboratory examinations, dispensing sterile preparations, as well call bathroom facilities supportive. In short, causes lack varied qualities, non-nursing workloads, less supportive facilities.
